India and Venezuela discuss oil-for-pharmaceuticals deal


Indian officials are discussing an oil-for-pharmaceuticals deal with Venezuela in order to recoup on money owed to Indian pharmaceutical companies. Venezuela’s economy has suffered in recent years and the country hasn’t been able to make payments to Indian pharmaceutical companies. Indian drug makers have bet on emerging markets to off-set some of the slower growth they’ve met in the United States.
