Allergan and Mylan sued over alleged price-fixing


Allergan and Mylan are among several generic drug makers being sued in Philadephia federal court. The antitrust lawsuits allege that the companies have being price-fixing two prominent generic drugs, including Digoxin and Doxycycline. The former is used to treat abnormal heart rhythms, while the latter is used as an antibiotic. The lawsuit was filed by union employee benefit plans in the past month.
